Sam Vermeulen

Sam Vermeulen is a corporate finance professional with a background in accountancy and extensive experience in senior financial roles. He is currently senior associate at ABCapital, a multi-family office and alternative asset manager based on Amsterdam. ABCapital also manages two closed-end investment vehicles, one focussing on light industrial real estate, and the other investing in private funds across various asset classes.

Prior to joining ABCapital Sam held a senior financial role at Vermeulen Ulutuz BV, an Amsterdam-based accountancy firm.  At Vermeulen Ulutuz BV, he worked on financial administration, drafting annual statements, and preparing tax returns. The firm’s diverse client base, ranging from financial service providers to restaurants, allowed to gain experience across various sectors.

Sam later held a senior financial controller role at and.agency, a full-service media and content group also based in Amsterdam. In this position, he was responsible for managing financial operations, overseeing budgets, and contributing to the financial aspects of strategic business initiatives within a fast-moving and creative industry.

Sam holds a Law degree from the University of Amsterdam and a Master’s degree in Corporate Finance Law and has completed Corporate Finance Institute Financial Modeling & Valluation Analyst course.
